Streets of Ocho Rios

The small town of Ocho Rios underwent a rapid development after the opening of a cruise port. Tourists are drawn to numerous attractions in the surrounding area like Dunn’s Riverfalls, Dolphin’s Cove and Mystic Mountain, not to mention the white sanded beaches. In town, craft markets and tour guides hope to get their share of the tourist dollar. In recent years an increasing number of hotel resorts transformed the once quiet fishing village into a popular tourist destination. However, when the visitors retreat to their rooms and cabins, a stroll through town allows a look at the slow paced everyday life.
